In many of these photos, such as photos 3 and 6, I chose to photograph far away from the subject. Rather than taking a picture of the lines on each individual column of the building, I chose to focus on the symmetry of the columns themselves. Many of these photos are taken straight on, however the flag and the dome were on higher ground so I took it from a lower perspective. To "make the ordinary extraordinary", I tried to find line and shape in unique places nobody would notice, such as the lines formed by the entrance to the store in photo 5. I also used shadow to showcase the unique movement of different types of lines.I considered the rule of thirds in that photograph especially, using the layering of the glass panels and the placement of the shoppers. The flag in my second photograph isn't centered, rather in the first third. The telephone line of another photo is also in the first third. One photo that compels the viewer's eye to move around the whole photo would be the photo of the congress building, because the columns are seen initially, but then there is more detail throughout the building, such as the entrance and other carvings of symbols and people.
